Living Where You Want To Live

Our choice of places to live often is determined by where our parents live. It could be determined by where the parents of your spouse live. It is not often that the place we live in is where we would really love to live.

When one graduate from school, whether it is a high school or college, they often settle right where they are because their parents or spouses’ parents are in that town or city.

Not much thought is given to moving somewhere else. It is just too easy to take the easy way out and stay put.

If you were to be given a choice of living anywhere you chose, where would it be? Would you stay where you are?

Would you move a town away so you would still be close to friends and family? How about moving to California, New York or Florida? Can you imagine living in Hawaii?

Do you live inland and would really love to live by the ocean? It is possible to live anywhere you want.

All you have to do is decide to move. Yes, there are a lot of things to consider when moving, but any obstacle can be overcome.

The purpose of this little report is to get you thinking about other possibilities. What would you do if you could? Where would you live if you could choose any place in the world?

You do not have to limit yourself to the country you are in right now. London, Paris, and Tokyo are calling. Can you hear them?

With the internet, it is possible to pick and choose any type of place you would like.

You can go to your favorite search engine and type in demographics and the name of a place you might like to live in.

Try entering demographics Salinas California in a search engine. Do not use the quotes. You don’t even have to use capital letters.

The Internet lets you discover just the type of place you would love to live. You can find a large city or a small town.

When you find a place that sounds interesting you can probably have flyers and brochures about the town and area sent to you.

Look up the chamber of commerce for the town you are interested in. See what they have to offer.

Wikipedia has information on almost any area or town you might choose. Even Salinas, California is listed on Wikipedia.

In this day of downsizing and outsourcing jobs to third world countries, you never know when you will be without a job.

It is better to look for a place to move when you have a job and probably more money. Once you lose a job, there may not be anything holding you, but it is easier to get a job when you have one than when you do not.

Start today and dream a little. Where would you be living today if nothing was holding you back? Get some fliers and brochures about that place.

Dream some more. You never know what awaits you, so think about the possibilities.
