Start with the statistics how many school children in the USA every year, become the victim of a violation of traffic rules or rash driving or narrate a true story of someone in the same age group of your audience who became a victim of a tragic road accident.
This will make them eager to know what you say about safety rules while on road.
The ending should be dramatic, so that it leaves your audience to think on the matter. The theme of your speech should be embodied in the ending paragraph containing all the key points so far discussed.
An inspirational quote is a good way of finishing your speech; it leaves a mark on the audience’s mind with a permanent resonance.
And as a public speaker, it is the most rewarding moment when you are successful to inspire a group of people with your speech.
